Role Description
This is a full-time, Montréal-based role. Under the direction of the Director, AI and Analytics, the AL/ML Engineer will work as part of a team of expert analysts, data scientists and AI engineers, in close collaboration with the Data Engineering and Cyber Security and Infrastructure teams, to design and deploy high value-added data products, including predictive and machine learning models, agentic AI solutions, and advanced statistical analytics. You will be a bridge between technology and business — able to translate complex insights into concrete recommendations for decision-makers. The environment is fast, dynamic and requires individuals that can work autonomously.
Qualifications
· 4-8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science or AI Engineering
· Fluent in business French and English required
· Proven experience developing, putting into production, and maintaining ML models
· Proven experience implementing GenAI architectures including RAG and agentic systems
· Experience in performance evaluation of agentic systems
· Master’s degree or PhD in data science, statistics, or a related field required
· Proficiency in Python or R required
· Face-to-face role in our downtown Montréal office
· Experience with Databricks is a strong asset
