Mental health challenges can affect anyone and often, they go unnoticed.
Research shows that most people who die by suicide have struggled with mental health or addiction, with many also facing major depression. These are silent battles that deserve attention, compassion, and support.
Cavallo Technologies is providing support to HeadsUpGuys, a program from The University of British Columbia offering evidence-based tools and therapy support. HeadsUpGuys is the charity partner for the upcoming Mikey’s Run, an event focused on raising awareness for men’s mental health.
Mike was someone who lit up every room — a devoted father, friend, and passionate runner. Michelle, who taught Mike how to swim and who has known his family for over 30 years, knew the depth of his kindness and strength. Mike faced challenges quietly and his story reminds us how important it is to check in, speak up, and support one another.
