Role Description
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, remote role. The Data Engineer will be responsible for developing data pipelines (ELT, ETL) from/to a variety of data sources and destinations. This includes data ingestion, cleansing and aggregating in a Data Lakehouse architecture in Azure, Databricks, Power BI and other related tools and systems, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise. The environment is fast, dynamic and requires individuals that can work autonomously.
Qualifications
· 4-6 years+ in hands-on, building and orchestrating pipelines and other Data Engineering tasks
· Experience with Databricks required
· Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent, Master’s preferred
· Experience with Azure Synapse and/or Azure Data Factory nice-to-have
· Experience with PySpark, Python required
· Experience with cloud-based development in Azure required, AWS nice-to-have
· Experience with DevOps tools and IaC such as ARM, Bicep and/or Terraform
· Experience with CI/CD in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub
· Experience with database technologies such as Cosmos DB, Dynamo DB, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Relevant certifications including: Databricks Data Engineer Associate/Professional, Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solution Architect Expert, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert, are highly desirable
