💡Did you know that in North America, 40% of food from groceries and restaurants ends up in landfills? This waste doesn’t just harm the environment—it impacts low-income families who are already struggling with rising food costs.
That’s why we’re proud to support the Greater Vancouver Food Bank, which is doing something uniquely impactful. Beyond providing fresh and healthy foods, they’re innovating to make food donations more sustainable.
For example, they rescue organic produce like apples and peaches, freeze-dry them, and repurpose them into nutritious snacks for daycare programs. Their board also visualizes their commitment to reducing food waste by optimizing the use of ingredients before they go bad—ensuring proper food gets to those who need it most.
